The Psychology of Christianity

Christianity is a very psychologically sophisticated religion. It wrestles with these profound emotions of guilt and responsibility in a quite special way. And all of this moral framing and perspective comes from this psychological evolution that has happened within mankind. This is why I'm such a fan of Nietzsche because he was one of the few people who tried to actually go beyond it without rejecting it, but asking more sophisticated questions.
