In late December and early January, Dr. Zhao Herhui's clinic received about 100 patients per day. The surge in the number of patients comes as the COVID-19 pandemic spills over into villages he serves. He says that up to 90 percent of the local villagers have had COVID symptoms. To meet the increasing medical demands, Dr.Zhao and his clinic are on standby for any emergencies.
