The History of Kheema

The first Japanese soldiers of the battle at Kheema were killed by Nepalese soldiers, which is quite an extraordinary fact. So you then had this Japanese division not coming up in a major body against Kheema, but coming in Dribs and drabs. This allowed the British to suddenly realize that actually Kheema was undefended and needed defending. And it enabled them to bring troops up from Dibbapore very quickly, and for an ad hoc defense to be created around the rich.
