How to Overcome the Gap Between My Portfolio and the S&P 500

I started this portfolio towards the beginning of 2021. The market has not done well overall since then, but it's starting to recover a little bit. We still have a 12 or 13% gap between my portfolio and the S&P 500. It only takes a couple holdings in my portfolio to do really well to close this gap very, very quickly.
