Joel Albeeman: I wanted to recap the diagnosis of nephrotic syndrome and then go back to the proteinuria thing, quantify it. What about if the patient had relatively controlled diabetes and then went from relatively controlled just wildly out of control? Might you see a spike in protein area in that case? Or would you still see an upward trend like you're saying? And plus this guy rolls in with an A1C, a 6.8. It looks like his diabetes is certainly not out of control right now. But that's just not, they typically don't get these huge jumps in proteinuria in response to decrease glycemic control.
