Mussolini's Regime in Italy

After the results of the election, Mussolini was securely in control. Instead of continuing with a radical fascist revolution, Mussolini just settled into a conservative nationalist leadership style. In its early years, it would work closely with the traditional political elites. Even if many of its actions were not in any way radical, that did not mean that Mussolini's regime did not begin to change Italian society.
