The Problem With Monotheistic Religions

The function of religion is to bring us towards life, and it seems like all the religions do this. Even if you say no, Christianity is the one truth, they're all fake,. Well, what then about Protestantism? Protestantism has worked in many places. America was built on product as a Protestant nation. Catholics conquered the world at another time. It just sounds so silly when you get down to it. And I think the problem with all of this comes into this distinction where religions have to be this obsession about truth.
