Some church members participated in a woman's march after the election of Trump. Others objected too strongly to what they saw as anti-gay or pro-abortion views. How do you help a church through those kinds of tough situations? It's hard, he says. You have to help people first have a clear understanding of what the gospel is and understand what issues that are not constitutive of the gospel. Then you need to be able to help them think through what a person specifically is doing or saying or advocating.
