Cassawaries - What Are They Selecting About?

People have been hunting and harvesting cassawaries for many thousands of years. But what was surprising, or exciting, i should say, about this study is that they were doing so in a very intentional and selective way. They weren't just randomly harvesting eggs as they came across them in the forest. It seems people were actually being selective. And that's amazing to think about, going back 18 thousand years, that people knew this environment, they knew the animals in it,.They knew the behavior of the animals. And they were able to time how they used their resources precisely.
