Chris: What do you think is the most common misunderstanding about volatility that is causing investors to either lose money or lose sleep? Chris: There's a time and there's a place for everything. The job of tail risk as a whole is to provide something that is going to give you a net positive geometric return over the long run. So it's really simple. I want to make more money in three years than I made today. Well, when you structure a portfolio that is comprised well with all these different layers that all focus on doing a job, that's how you have that outperform.
