knowledge of effective altruism may be required for some roles. It's better to hire staff who can switch into other roles because it gives you more options. Leaders need to embody the culture and mission of the organization in order to motivate and unify their team. If someone doesn't have a good fit with effective altruism, it makes it hard for them to be promoted into leadership positions later on.
