Levodopa Induced Dyskinesias
As Parkinson's advances, people will have a shorter window of time that the medications working. What we call levodopa induced dyskinesias are kind of writhing, swaying, bobbing and sometimes it's the mouth and face. Some enzyme inhibitors can help stretch out the duration of action of the medicine without so much sort of highs and lows. The last treatment option is deep brain stimulation surgery (DBS)
