The Case of Mark Leonard and Gary Thompson

Mark Leonard received two life sentences without parole. Gary Thompson's trial was scheduled for later that year, but he agreed to play the guilty to conspiracy to commit arson in exchange for having all other charges against him dropped. Glenn Holtz also entered an agreement with the prosecution, pleading guilty to one count of assisting a criminal in exchange for had the conspiracy to commit fire charge dropped. Montserrati Shirley was sentenced to 50 years in prison. She will be eligible to apply for parole in December 2032, aged 72 years old.
