In just the last decade, there have been literally dozens o reference ase masing. In all the twentieth century, my research assistants could only find ten instances of christ as a healer in the last decade. The first half of the book is a kind of historical and etymological excavation of the language of the gospel. Where did it come from? To what extent was it shaped by reformer translators? And to what extent was It in the air, in the climate in joseph smith's day?
