The Impact of USCDI on Data Quality
USCDI is great in that it expands the kind of data that we should be collecting about patients. But there's no standard reference from which we should instantiate the data collection. So I like USCDI, but it needs to be more specific about the data standards underneath it. UPMC or Maine Health have carried IMO terminology down into the data warehouse.
