Anti-Religion - The Soviet Union
In a post capitalist system, religious institutions wouldn't have the profit motive. This would lead to them outgrowing dogmatic and conservative beliefs. The fault really starts and ends with the soviet union, because they're the ones who started this precedent of being so anti religious. Even though both faced quite a bit, the christianity was the one who felt most of the brunt in the civil union.
