The Luxor hash price index tracks the expected value of your hash rate over a given amount of time. The goal is to have an instrument where you can lock in revenue for agiven amount of hash rate. There's no cash settled derivative, so there's a physically delivered product. A forward does basically agree to a future prices and fixed quantity.
