The Importance of Storytelling
"Buddy" is about a four-year-old boy who loses his best friend. The movie ends with him being sent to the circus, which he doesn't know how to do. "I just saw, you know, how it could be a powerful story," says director Robert Redford. 'The film didn't do very much business,' but that's because of its subject matter and not due to any particular box office success.
