Introduction
The Dialectical Imagination is a history of the Fromfus School and the Institute of Social Research, 1923-1950. The book was published 50 years ago on the 100th anniversary of this legendary school by Professor J Elman. This year also marks the 50s year after the publication of the University of California Press' monograph. As a coincidence, the second edition of the book Chinese translation will also be published by Shanghai Literature and Art, Publishing House, and M is translated.
