Is It a Data Science Master's or a PhD?
I would go for implementing models. And also, there's the engineering part of machine learning, deep learning. So train them and deploying. My end goal would be researching, but we will see how it goes. Obviously, a lot of companies require PhD in it. I think DeepMind has really good offers about it's not only research,. But obviously later on, you can go to the researching and go in farther with it.
