Tabernacle Symbolism

In chapter 33, the tent of meeting has a different purpose than the tabernacle. Joshua and anyone really who wanted to consult God could have access to it, not just priests. This isn't simply a matter of terminology, but of two tents with different functions. It raises historical questions about where they're actually to or was the less elaborate tent of meeting that we see in 33 seven.
