The Letters of the Arabic Alphabet in the Lunar Mansions
The 28 letters of the arabic alphabet in the lunar mansions are based on what looks like a zodiac sign. The correspondences largely are coming from the actual appearance of the stars themselves, and the waya these dot diagrams thet authors have made,. What does this image evoke for you? This is, to me, beginning to talk about image magic, which maybe is for another time. And so i think it comes down to what i'm calling the imagination of the author or the person who is coming to the material that they're illustrating.
