What Could Really Go Wrong for Anthony?
Anthony invades what is now northwestern Iran. He invades it from Armenia, which in antiquity was a much larger kingdom than the modern country of Armenia. The king of Armenia turned out to be not entirely trustworthy allies. Anthony retreats after being sniped at and attacked by the Parthian enemy. After making a display of his power, he has no choice except to return home.
