The Conflict of the Good and the Evil in Nikolai
Dostoevsky plays around with this Piotr Stapanovich character, and it is just very, very insightful. He's kind of like the embodiment of the human dilemma or the human conflict that we are living in right now. Kirilov is one of my favorite characters; I'll have you talking about more of him when I dive deeper into my video series. And to talk about Shalov, while he's not the main character for me, I view him as a representation of Dostoevky's critique of the revolutionary spirit: freedom and tyranny.
