Etherium's a Greener System Than Gasolene's

Etherium claims to have flipped an entire system with apparently no down time and no apparent problems, and no changes required to the end users. They claim that a single p os etherian transaction uses the same amount of energy as a tv uses in 20 minutes. But i'm uncomfortable with being able to claim that you'r green because you now burn through two thousand times less than the humungous, colossal, damaging amount you previously needed. If this works, it could hopefully shove people like bit coin er into ditching theirs and using less energy. So thes potentials potentially here. But i don't wanly cash to invest in cash, never mind about etherium.
