When Indian Airlines, the total amount that government invested was only 125 crores. The Tata's bid 18,000 crores for air India of which 15,300 crores is dead and the remaining 2,700 crores will be cash. GRD Tata certainly ran the best airline in the world. And I remember my father who was in Bhamma Shell, when he used to travel abroad, he, like many others, used to plan their trips according to the schedule of air India.
