The book is a fictionalized conversion story of a nihilist turned christian. If it helps one person just feel a bit closer, or go over to christianity theni it's done its job. My favourite character - unfortunate for people who have only seen the films - is tom bomberdill. Hehe just wants to do his people right. And i im sort of succour fom what they'd now consider very patriarchal and old school values such as heroism and t, the christian virtues. The emotions that talking gave him are beautiful. A be not afraid, which is ten pounds or ten dollars.
