The Last Little Thing
Charles Dickens was inspired by the hangings to write his novel bleak house. One of the characters in book hortense is actually inspired by marie manning. Marie wore a black satin a dress when she was hanged. The fabric went, like, totally out of style for a while because of it. Sales like plunged. And she was called the woman who murdered black satin for how dare she? Isn't that? That's insane. So, thog, they were hanged together, side by side, a married couple, and i think they were only like, the second married couple to be hanged. O, creepy.
