Tether Has Never Received a Loan From Celsius
Paolo O'Doyneo, the chief technology officer at Tether and Bitfinex crypto exchange took to Twitter on January the 31st. The tweet came in response to the Celsius bankruptcy examiner report, which is allegedly mistakenly implied that Tether was among Celsius's borrowers alongside firms such as three hours at arrows capital. Ardoyneo suggested that examiner Shoba Polay mixed up prepositions in the examiner report, actually meaning Celsius loans from Tether instead of Celsius loans to Tether. As previously reported, Celsius allegedly borrowed $1 billion from Tether with Bitcoin in 2021.
