A branch is a version of your code. You can diff like, literally any two comits. Or you can diff what is called the head, which is like your current working state. What other kind of ajargon do we have? Cmit, diff, head a. I think that's pretty good for for jargon. Maybe if we hid anthe others, we can make sure that we call them out.
