The only thing you could get from James Bond is a view to a kill. He gets very complicated, but people are getting like at least triple and quadruple cross. But yeah, it's a very different vibe from what Le Corre is up to. I completely agree with Le Corre that if you are looking for somebody trying to say something or like a point of view that maybe James Bond is not the one you want.

The "cold" in this classic spy novel is a metaphor, but it's still a chilling book for a chilly season! If you like double-, triple-, and possible quadruple-crossings and hate happy endings, this is a book that you'll want to bring in from the cold.
