The Splash Zone

Adeline throws the potion on a light and from it comes a blast of hot steam. On the wooden floor is not vinegar, but a blue liquid that pools together into one large blob like mercury. Lights from the room bounce off the substance's mirror-like surface. When you lean in closer to the liquid, instead of your reflection looking back in, you see massive tree trucks rising to a forced canopy.
