Wendy Barron is a theoretical physicist at the University of California, Los Angeles. She and her colleagues are trying to understand the age of the universe with new data from the James Web Space Telescope. The Hubble constant has been found to be much more accurate than previously thought. But they still face challenges in improving their accuracy as objects get farther away.
