CHAPTER

How Can We Be Better in Those Moments?

i do a tobetan buddhist meditation called loving kindness. You spend about five or ten minutes a day, every day, and you just think of different people in your life,. And for each person just, you know, three times standerd. One of the reasons i do it is because some of the research shows that that type of practice actually causes phis a change in brain structures in a very similar way to mindfulness. It's like working out a muscle - if you work out a muscle, the muscle gets bigger and more powerful. So similarly, when you say, breathe and be mindful of the fact that you're breathing, you work out that call it a muscle.
