Is There a Role for Design and Technology in Helping Disabled People?
I'd love to hear a little bit more about the history of disabled people as creators, technologists and designers. And how this history disrupts what Lily Arani calls the design-saver complex. I think there's a huge role to play for technology and design to play in helping non-disabled people to be better allies. So these histories can be very hard to trace because the language of disability only started to arise with kind of the industrial revolution.
