The Future of Sports Debate Shows
I do wonder if these sports debate shows are a somewhat creaky institution along the lines of meet the press. I think you probably find another host or a rotating group of hosts like Stephen A has bringing in Mad Dog Russo, JJ Redick and get whatever he needs out of them. And maybe Shannon Sharp has been an interesting test case. Does he go off and want to do a debate show? Maybe he just wants to do a podcast. You know, be like LeBron James is loudest fan on that court side of Laker games.
