The primary outcomes of the study were mortality from any cause at 30 days, three months, six months in one year and myocardial infarction. Secondary outcomes, which there were 14, included acute confusional state. Cochrane ultimately found that there is no difference in the risk of acute conf delusional state comparing regional anesthesia and general anesthesia.
