The Role of Psychokinesis in Weight Loss

The McDougall results of weight loss, and the Hollander-Kruth results of weight gain, point in opposite directions. How could those be squared from a reason perspective? That's something we'd need further research and replication to clarify. If both findings hold up, there would be ways to reconcile them.
