Portugal is by far the smallest of these seven countries that i mentioned yet we have over one third 34 percent in total of the cork oaks forest area in the world. 95 percent of the forest in portugal is in private hand but you have everything from small producers to large producers mind you there's well over two million hectares planted within Portugal.
