Don't Open Source Your Code if You Don'T Want People Using It

If you don't want people using your code, why is it open source? Well, if your code is open source and it's a library or a package that people are using, they're already using it for their own profit many times over. Big, big companies, legal departments, I think are very nervous about this because they don't know the rules. It's a very sort of murky legal area. So that makes them nervous and they tend to want to just say, no.
