The Advantages and Disadvantages of Event Cognition
The idea of a location and an event is much more fluid. You can either have the location just be you at your particular spot right there, or you can expand out to something larger. That's apparently how cognition works, that we can switch between different levels pretty easily. And that's one of the advantages of the whole event cognition approach.
