The Role of Agriculture in the Evolution of the Earth
Farming and hurting across the earth, agriculture and pastoralism, as you write, changed the earth and its climate far more than anything Homo sapiens had done had done before. So if globally we are all going to agriculture, that's a lot fewer trees, a lot more open space around the world. And of course it begins first with just transforming, transforming meadows and open spaces. But as those get used up, then you've got to start pushing. The amount of carbon in the atmosphere changes. You just have this sort of domino effect of one thing and then it also reaches up to the climate.
