The Last I Am Statement

The verse that changed my life is John 15 2. We're actually going to look at verses 1 through 5. This is Jesus talking to his boys about the fruit that they are going to bring and have in their lives. The imagery of a vine was significant for the disciples. They had known about the vine when God created a garden in the garden of Eden but then Adam and Eve decided to eat the one tree that God told them not to eat. Through that sin entering the world, the penalty of death entered the world. That's why God now sent Jesus to be the one true vine.
