Is There a Parallel Between the YPG and the Syrian Civil War?
Ford: It always seemed so odd to me that there were there are people who will like go around the world and join fights that aren't really theirs. So, I have kind of a soft spot for people that are that nutty. And I definitely portrayed the YPG volunteers in a sympathetic way when I was reporting on them. But you know, the big difference between them and Ukraine is that the volunteers who fought with the YPG wasn't in service of US-vac regime change or US-Vac war.
