The Importance of Suffering in German Idealism

Suffering has meaning because it's part of this divine unfolding our struggles in life are part of a much wider process that we routinely or unwittingly offer back to that wider process. I think the risk in German idealism is that God is imagined as being just a little bit too much like us on a cosmic larger universal scale instead of realizing that the divine origin the source whilst the source and so imminently intimately connected with all things is also at the same time radically different from all things even beyond being itself.
