The Relationship Between Funding and Impact

Black scientists were more likely to propose research with topics in areas with less funding and lower rates of funding. The team analyzed the first authors of more than five million research articles published between two thousand eight and two thousand 19. They used gender, race, chosen research topic and measured impact to complete their analysis.
