Isaiah 61: Beauty From Aashes
Think about this verse from isaiah 61. The messiah would come. Isaiah promised to appoint unto them that mourn in zion. And again, i think that's what jacob is feeling. Will my waste place ever be rebuilt? Can my stony pillow ever become a pillar and plantin of the lord? The answers yes, and god will make sure of that. That's sort of what it sounds like. If you'll do it, if you'll do everything you said, then i'll accept you as my god.
