The Importance of Regulating Tech

Lou Cevallos: Big tech people walk into the halls of power and demand to be regulated. This has reverberations around the world, right? He says you could pay for a racist limerick from an AI that can write its own speech. But only Sam Altman seems to have done it because he was desperate to not get regulated on social media until it had achieved such an amount of dominance. And this is why I think that one of the biggest moments for the development of AI as an industry will have implications for our lives in the other day.
