Is There a Limit to Understanding Empathy?
I think the whole problem is that we believe the understanding and empathy is a solution because it really isn't. What's causing these divisions is a society which is based structurally on inequality. This is not this isn't something you can fill with empathy but some conflict is actually what we need. And the idea that we overcome everything by holding hands and having empathy are really the wrong way to look at the problem. I don't think people would listen just because they empathize or at least a white person be like oh I get it. Or what do you think?
