Loneliness and the Church as a Community

Lonely, isolated people without a sense of belonging are susceptible to radicalization. The church could play a role in this situation if it understood itself as a community that was meant to look for those lonely, isolated people. But because we've tied ourselves so tightly to other sort of cultural markers and identifiers, it's hard for me to see a pathway into the church.
